bowl of japanese ramen

it's raining
it's thundering
i think some areas are even experiencing lightening
yup. that is the current weather in la!

so what do you feel like eating on a day like today?

as for me, i crave something soup-based . . .
something like . . . a bowl of japanese ramen that will warm me up

ramen yamadaya

doesn't that look de-lish?
it's from one of my favorite 'japanese-ramen' place in la!

i am fortunate to live pretty close to so many amazing & authentic japanese food as there are a lot of japanese & japanese business men living not so far from me
while it's still not comparable to what you would get in japan (as my uncle says)
i consider ramen yamadaya as one of the better ramen places around

yamadaya ramen
tonkotsu kotteri
kara-age

what made these ramen excellent was obviously their broth
tonkotsu kotteri was definitely heavier but yamadaya ramen was perfect for my taste
also, you can choose the thickness of your ramen, which is a plus

for those of you living in westwood,
they just opened another location there, so you can try from that location!

i am now happilyfull ♥
see you on my next adventure!
